I’m interested in the image and what makes it arise. The images of our (hi)story – both individual and collective –
surround us undeniably at every instant creating new ones within us. To make my personal images visible hoping that they might interfere with yours is the purpose and aim of my work.
Sketchings are my way to still my eye’s desire of colors and my hand’s need to move the brush when I’m too short of time to make it to the studio. They also are important for me as a playground to explore new ideas.
I write about the encounter of what seems to be a coincidence and the tragedies behind it. I’m interested in the human heart and how much it can hold as much as in interculturality and what we call the foreign.
